The Trustees are from diverse backgrounds and cover a wide age range as
well as geographical area but share between them a passion for the fulfilment of the core
objectives of the Trust.
Aims/Objectives
- To celebrate 300 years of Sikhism nationally in the year 2000 and its contribution to
British society to date.
- To raise awareness among British Sikhs nationally of opportunities to serve
the whole community through public life, governance and voluntary effort.
- To provide a vehicle for the Sikh community to be accessed and contribute to national
consultation and decision making processes.
- To assist in the mutual understanding of various religions, cultures and values.
